Looking for an easy peasy dinner that takes less than half an hour? Look no further because I have the EASIEST keto short ribs that takes only 12 minutes to cook in an air fryer!
The rub for these ribs is a new favourite. It’s a mix of garlic & onion with a hint of paprika and sweetness from brown sugar substitute. I honestly LOVE this rub. Ive also tried it on pork chops (which is equally delicious).
For the brown sugar substitute – I used Splenda – HOWEVER – sadly it is half erythritol/half actual brown sugar. SO its NOT recommended to use it if you are keto or diabetic. I have tried Sukrin Gold and it will work just as well. I believe Swerve also has a brown sugar substitute as well as Lakanto!
Now the recipe itself is super simple – all you need to do is mix together the spices, pat down the ribs with a paper towel – brush with some olive oil and then rub in the spice mixture. So easy! Then place in the air fryer for 12 minutes!
If you like these – you’ll also like my air fryer chicken wings or my keto air fryer beef jerky!

I would love to try your short ribs recipe but Splenda is really negative on the thyroid. It also contains aspartame or sucralose or saccharine . Is there no way to cook beef short ribs without a sweetener which would be more in line with a ketogenic diet.
you could probably leave it out if you’d like! Although I havent tried it so Im not sure how it is but I dont think it would be awful
Hello!
Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I tried this recipe the other night. It so happens that my inlaws were there too. They like the recipe so much that they ask for the leftovers to go!
Anyways, thanks a lot for sharing this. Excited to send the next recipe here to my wife.
Have a great day!
