Delicious and so easy to make. This tomato and goat cheese dip is the perfect appetizer to serve alongside any of your favourite snacks. Plus it is SO easy to make.
For this recipe, I used garlic scapes which are basically the stems of a garlic plant. I definitely recommend using scapes but to be honest, this is the first time I actually found them in stores. So if you don’t have scapes, you can use just regular minced garlic. Probably 2-3 tsp, or 2-3 cloves.
Another ingredient I used was goat cheese. If you are allergic or don’t like goat cheese, you can use feta. Just make sure that it has been dried off it it was soaking in water, otherwise you may have a watery dip. Before making this dip – I liked to cook the scapes and tomatoes on the stove. This will soften the scraps and the skins of the tomatoes. You definitely don’t have to do this, but you may have big chunk of scape in the dip.
What to enjoy this goat cheese dip with?
I LOVED using small peppers, like at the end of the video. It’s so so so good. You can also use keto crackers or bread – like my baguette recipe! YUM! Goat cheese dip with veggies is also delicious.
I hope you enjoy this recipe – if you like dips, check out my keto crack dip, or my keto crab dip – both are SO good.
